NFL Championship Sunday Bets
Let’s make on thing clear, after Sunday we are waiting two weeks for our next NFL game and we are only getting one game that day. What that means is we need to have enough bets out on each game that every play will affect us financially. I like to tie the games together with a teaser or parlay to make this happen. It’s the only way to play this. Don’t get mad at me, I was given this world, I didn’t make it.
Also, I had no idea how many people were reading this until I looked at Google Analytics for the first time the other day. I thought it was just us morons but there are more than I thought so in an effort to be responsible, I have included a disclaimer. Please bet ALL of these bets responsibly. Every single one of them for more than you an afford to lose but responsibly. If you think you have a gambling problem, call the 800 number. I don’t know it offhand but I am sure you can Google it and it will come up.
Tampa Bay – Green Bay 3:05 PM
Equanimeous St. Brown Over 10.5 receiving yards (+105) *Fanduel
You have to dig deep on Championship Sunday and that’s exactly what I am doing. I think the weather will suck but I don’t think it’s a deal breaker for the offenses. Both quarterbacks are used to playing in cold weather so there is that. The snow should be done by kickoff so here we are.
You have to think Davante Adams is going to get an insane amount of attention so why not look elsewhere. St. Brown is a guy who will fly under the radar since he will get targeted twice at the most in this game. The thing is, he has gone over this yardage in six of the last eight games he has played. Tampa Bay has one of the best run defenses in the NFL so we may see Rodgers throw the ball 30+ times. If that happens, it’s not crazy to think St. Brown gets one or two.

Cameron Brate Over 26.5 Receiving Yards * Fanduel
Brate is a forgotten part of this offense and with Antonio Brown out, he could see even more action. So far in the playoffs he has had four receptions in each game and gone over 50 yards both times. The Packers would be smart to take away the Buccaneers’ high profile targets and “let” a guy like Brate operate with relative impunity. He should see his fair share of Christian Kirksey and if that happens, he will have more than 26 yards in the first half.

6 Point Teaser – Buccaneers +10 & Bills +9
You also need to tie the two games together somehow for maximum entertainment value. I elected to go with a 6 team teaser because that’s just how I roll. A lot of guys like to do the ML parlay of the two teams they think will go to the Super Bowl and that’s fine too. Just remember to check the Super Bowl matchup lines at your book first to make sure you are going with the better of the two bets. I think we are going to get two close games that will keep us entertained all evening/night. I wouldn’t be surprised if any of the four teams left win so it felt right to tease.

So many questions. What am I missing here? Am I high? Are the books high? Why would they even let us do this? Do I have to wait until Sunday? Can they just pay me now? pic.twitter.com/UHOAkANDA3

I may or may not bet any props on the Bills-Chiefs until I see weather reports closer to kickoff. As of right now, it looks to be rainy and cold so I think waiting to see some numbers drop is the way to play it. I am not taking an under so there is no need to even look at those. If I decide to do something, I will put it on Twitter so follow me there @SlopRules.
