Teaser Time (Week 6 2020)

I’m not even going to bring up the fact that I went 5-0 last week with the teases. It was actually 6-0 when you take into account the Thursday Night game but I who’s counting? If you aren’t teasing games yet, it’s probably time you start. It’s basically like being a pitcher in baseball and having an umpire with an absurdly big strike zone. Don’t like baseball, fine, it’s like playing basketball with a rim that’s two times the size of a normal rim. I think you get the point.

Teaser Time (Week 6 2020)

Packers/Buccaneers Over 49 & Texans/Titans Over 47

I love the battle of the Bays turning into a shootout and I think it will. One noticeable problem that the talking heads are ignoring is that while the Buccaneers run defense is strong, they have the potential to get smoked in the pass game. Forget the fact that Davante Adams is going to shred Carlton Davis, what about the fact that Aaron Rodgers will have all day to throw. The Packers’ offensive line has an adjusted sack rate of 3.5% which is the best in the NFL and we all saw what happened when the Buccaneers couldn’t get to Justin Herbert (290 yards, 3 TDs). Rodgers will feast in a game that you have to think has been on his radar since the schedule came out.┬áIf Tom Brady can move the ball on the Packers defense, which I think is highly likely, this at worst shapes up to be a game that goes back and forth and stays within a TD. Points, points and more points as a result.

The Titans’ offense is a wagon right about now and I couldn’t imagine the Texans doing anything defensively that would keep them under 30. It starts with pace which is where I like to look first because the last thing you want to see is two teams taking all day to snap the ball. We don’t have that here. According to Football Outsiders, both of these two teams are in the top 10 in the NFL in pace in neutral situations with both being in the top 5 in the first half. Neither team has really shown the ability to stop the run so I don’t think that will start this week which is obviously a good thing. On top of all that, AJ Brown should get shadowed by Bradley Roby and even Roby’s parents will admit that’s a mismatch. On the other side, take your pick between Will Fuller and Brandin Cooks roasting Malcolm Brown and Johnathan Joseph all day. Big plays are on the table with fast, steady movement on the ground. The books opened this number at 55 and here we are getting it at 47 after it was bet down to 53. I’ll take that any day.

I bet this at BetOnline. Right now, they are offering an extra 50% added on to your first deposit up to $1000. Think about it, they are giving you free money just to play there. I don’t know about you but that seems like a good idea. I’ve been playing there for almost a decade and I’m not leaving anytime soon. If you don’t have an account, click here and check them out. You have never seen anything like this book.
